Atlas is the greek myth, who was punished to hold up the sky. The strength is his mark. The sphere is what he sustains. The bowed skyline of the project is: permeable, because it welcomes everything comes from the sky; infinite, because like a sphere, it reaches orizontally and vertically the sky; centred, because it invites to stay and enjoy the time. Vantaa welcome its guests from the sky, like Atlas embraces the celestial sphere. A central park is the magnet of the whole area. The park represents a sensational place, a green area a permeable soil to drain the rainwater. Starting from the circle of interest and the green axis, a parallel net connects the axes, modulate the urban volumes and design the path system. The alternation between carfree streets and car friendly streets allows a separation from the pedestrian spaces generating high quality urban environment. A comprehensive permeability of the area lead to the squares. The Rälssitie skyline is variable and draws a bend, with the deepest point in the park, recalling a basin, that collects the water to the creek. The dwellings have a central space naturally ventilated via loggia on both sides and wide windows for the best exposure to the sunlight. For the indoor comfort, the daily and night area are located respectively on the South side and the North side.
