Usually, a pedestrian covers a maximum distance of 500 meters by foot before opting for the use of a car. A pedestrian travels 500 meters in about 6 minutes. The street is the identifying place of a city, where domestic spaces, squares, community spaces overlook and interconnect. In the first phase the project focuses to create human scale roads. To reduce the use of the cars by the inhabitants in favor of soft mobility, the project strategy organizes the territory in urban neighborhoods (MACROLOTTI) characterized by community services within 5-10 minutes (400-800 meters ) within walking distance. In that way residents can access without the use of a car.
